Salar of Uyuni

In the Andes, southwest of Bolivia, the Salar of Uyuni is the largest salt lake in the world. Born as a result of the drying up of a prehistoric lake, this desert landscape located at 3,658m above sea level covers almost 11,000 km². The salar contains half of the lithium reserves in the world! A most unusual adventure and probably one of the most surrealistic panoramas I have ever seen.
